George Gendy graduated from Rutgers University in 1998 with a Bachelor Degree in Biology and Exercise Science. He then continued his graduate education in Physical Therapy at Florida A & M University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2001. George takes pride in offering the best of care to every patient.
Early in his career, George built is extensive experience in industrial/work rehabilitation and ergonomics. He has over fifteen years experience in orthopedic and outpatient physical therapy. In his years of professional practice, he has treated thousands of physical therapy patients, including many of Franklin and Somerset’s school-age athletes and residents as well as several Olympic level and professional athletes. He is enthusiastic about the new opportunities and experiences available to him and looks for ways to make a positive impact on the community. He is excited to share the orthopedic knowledge he has gained with his patients to maximize their results in physical therapy and help them achieve their goals. George has a special passion for improving his patients’ quality of life and allowing them to return to their favorite activities and lead a healthy lifestyle.
George not only provides direct care to patients and staff leadership but also owns the practice. In treating physical therapy patients and counseling sports performance clients, he draws upon current research to incorporate scientifically validated methods and the latest technologies into his daily practice. With his leadership the entire clinic is able to provide the best care to our patients without sacrificing quality.
Katrina Thoene graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2014, earning Summa Cum Laude honors. She has experience in outpatient orthopedics, aquatic rehabilitation, and acute brain trauma rehabilitation, and has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2011.
Kate’s primary focus is the overall health and well-being of her
patients, and her treatment approach is directed towards patient empowerment through education and personalized care. Her treatments include evaluation and correction of posture and disordered movement, hands-on manual therapy interventions, and specific exercises to achieve individualized goals. Kate has a special interest in rehabilitation of sports-related injuries, as she was a four-year collegiate varsity athlete in volleyball. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, playing volleyball, gardening, yoga, and traveling.
Antonious Aboseff completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies at Rutgers University and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Master’s in Public Health from New York Medical College (NYMC) with a dual focus in orthopedic and pediatric physical therapy. While at NYMC, Antonious along with a few of his colleagues teamed up with Open Door Family Medical Center, to begin the first pro bono health and wellness class in Ossining, NY to serve those who are under and uninsured. Through his experiences, Tony has developed a deep passion for empowering his patients to make appropriate and educated healthcare decisions in order to take control of their own health.
Tony also takes great interest in educating injury prevention through the use of tools such as the Functional Movement Screen. He listens deeply to understand each patient’s goals and then develops an individualized plan employing the most up to date evidence-based approaches. He utilizes targeted manual therapy techniques and foundational movement patterns to optimize success so patients can return to what they love to do.
Tony is a member of the USA track and field Association in which he competitively competes, with the 400M hurdles as his main event. When he is not on the track you can find him in the kitchen experimenting with different recipes and ingredients from cultures all over the world. Feel free to share all your favorite restaurants and great eats because this foodie loves to travel, eat and run!
