Conditions Treated

Manual Therapy

Manual physical therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy delivered with the hands as opposed to a device or machine.

In manual therapy, practitioners use their hands to put pressure on muscle tissue and manipulate joints in an attempt to decrease pain caused by muscle spasm, muscle tension, and joint dysfunction.

COPT offers a manually based physical therapy practice, emphasizing a hands-on approach to patient care, treatment, and implementation.  Every treatment course begins with a comprehensive evaluation. From there our therapists will tailor a program specifically for you to minimize or eliminate pain, restore mobility, strength, flexibility and balance, as well as maximize function for activities of daily living, work and recreation.
