Antonious Aboseff completed his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Sport Studies at Rutgers University and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Master’s in Public Health from New York Medical College (NYMC) with a dual focus in orthopedic and pediatric physical therapy. While at NYMC, Antonious along with a few of his colleagues teamed up with Open Door Family Medical Center, to begin the first pro bono health and wellness class in Ossining, NY to serve those who are under and uninsured. Through his experiences, Tony has developed a deep passion for empowering his patients to make appropriate and educated healthcare decisions in order to take control of their own health.
Tony also takes great interest in educating injury prevention through the use of tools such as the Functional Movement Screen. He listens deeply to understand each patient’s goals and then develops an individualized plan employing the most up to date evidence-based approaches. He utilizes targeted manual therapy techniques and foundational movement patterns to optimize success so patients can return to what they love to do.
Tony is a member of the USA track and field Association in which he competitively competes, with the 400M hurdles as his main event. When he is not on the track you can find him in the kitchen experimenting with different recipes and ingredients from cultures all over the world.
